JULY 2007 UPDATE:

Greetings, Spuds!

I'm back from Europe, and furiously working on getting photos & info together for the DEVO Europe '07 Tour Report, which will grace Devo-Obsesso.com sometime in August.

If you'd like to submit photos (on CD or DVD), flyers, or press coverage (no copies, please), send them ASAP to: Club DEVO, 702 Tyler Rd., Raleigh, NC 27604, USA. I will be sure to give you credit for any photos you snapped.

It was fantastic to meet so many dedicated DEVOtees in Europe.

Sorry if I couldn't get everyone backstage to meet the band. We ran into some problems with backstage areas that were too small, and tight travel schedules which kept the band from meeting with fans as often as they would've liked to.

OCTOBER SHOWS in SOUTH AMERICA CANCELLED!

We are VERY sorry to announce that the planned South American DEVO shows for October 2007 have been cancelled. Actually, they were never 100% confirmed (which is why I never listed them on DEVO's web sites), but I heard reports that advertisements & flyers were already being distributed.

This was not DEVO's choice to cancel these shows, and we will keep you posted on whether they will be rescheduled for 2007 or 2008.

If you can send me any flyers, posters, or advertisements for these shows (NO COPIES, PLEASE), I will send you a free DEVO gift. Please mail to:

Para os mais desavisados, que não sabem inglês, o principal da notícia que está em negrito diz:

"Estamos muito tristes em anunciar que os shows planejados para a américa do sul em Outubro de 2007 foram cancelados. Na verdade, nós nunca confirmamos 100% dos shows ( por isso mesmo eu nunca havia listado os shows em nossos sites) Mas eu ouvi notícias de que propagandas e flyer já haviam sido distribuídos."

:( .. E minha alegria foi por água abaixo..
fóda.. no mesmo post eles falam que tentarão re-agendar para 2007 ainda ou 2008.. vamos ver. A esperança é última que morre né.
